During turbulent times, I've looked out at the wing of the plane-shaking out there, and it sometimes shakes me a little on the inside.
Watching the hinged parts of the wing move downward upon landing, slowing the mass of metal down, it is clear that there is strength in the structure.
"They need to come to the end of themselves."
RESPONSIBLE
I think it is the typical eldest-child mantra: "I must be the responsible one."
Sometimes the only way to get healed is to get broken first.
I NEED A MECHANIC
With too much shaking the screws come loose. Mind or metal-that is what happens.
I had to go to 2 Corinthians 10:5 therapy.
I am free to let things go
Love takes responsibility for those in it's care.
If I fall, I fall on love that never fails.
How free are you? Do you need a little truth and love?
TRUTH AND LOVE
His gift of words from my personal therapy
for growing in Truth and Love:
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought
to make it obedient to Christ.
God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love
with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
"..and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.
For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has notbeen perfected in love.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
And the life I now live in the flesh I live
live in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
What have you been set free from? Which words of His have been your therapy? Might these words of His heal your heart?
