How To Overcome Anxiety & Panic Attacks: A Christian's Strategy For Peace

ο»ΏDale was pulling the boat he’d successfully refurbished during his eight-month stay in Georgia. His job was finished and we were returning to Minnesota with a few vacation destinations on the way.

I was following him, driving the Yukon he’d purchased on Craig’s List, which was full of weighty things, and had a heavy wood box strapped to the top.

ο»ΏWith 2200 miles ahead of us, I couldn’t succumb to the panic attack that struck as we began the drive through the mountains.

A week after returning home, I spoke to a gathering of women explaining how the Lord enabled me to complete the trip. After my message, I was approached by several women seeking a transcript or a way to listen online. They wanted to remember and share the message with others.

Since I’d already been entertaining the idea of starting a podcast, I told them I’d record it, and send them a link.

I’m still deliberating about the podcast . . . but have managed to record and upload the message to Sound Cloud.

Learning the art of recording has been challenging for me, so after many hours of recording three different “takes,” and finding a way to add music, I decided to just bite the bullet and share it.

It’s been on hold for over a week that was full of “other important things” taking my time.

I wanted to try to splice in a new intro because it didn’t come across as I’d intended. — If you listen, please give grace for the opening comments about one of my favorite titles: Granny. And if you actually picture Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies — as the granny I was describing, then maybe I did okay with the intro after all. πŸ™‚

I’m happy to share this somewhat painfully acquired message with you for free.

I’m wondering if you would mind leaving me a comment if it encourages you?

Also, would you do me the honor of sharing it with someone you think might benefit from it?

And lastly, I would LOVE to have you sign up to receive my blog posts in your inbox. You can do that in the upper right hand of this post. Or by clicking HOME in the upper left and scrolling down about a third of the way to the box “Don’t Miss A Post” ~

Thank you so much!
