  1. Great post! Oh how I wish I could help instill in my granddaughters that God made them just right and to just be themselves. It has taken me way too many years to kniw this about myself. What a waste of time!

  2. Just believe God.
It really is that simple. But sometimes, oh, so hard to do!
I also appreciate your exhortation to remember the Truth. I speak it to myself time and time again, because my circumstances keep bringing up lies. So thankful that I can trust in the Truth of God.
    Thanks for sharing these words!

  3. These are my favorite words: “We won’t continue to live dodging the feelings, we will live despite them.” So often I let feelings master me, but you are right in saying that we need to fight from victory! So much wisdom here. 🙂

  4. “We don’t fight for victory, we fight from it.” Kathy, these words really resonate with me! I will carry them close to my heart as a reminder of the triumph that is ours in Christ. Thanks for being so open, and for pointing us back to Jesus as the solution for our every need.

What a joy to be walking arm-in-arm with sisters like you!

  5. I so appreciate you reminding me that I DO live in freedom, even though I often voluntarily chain myself back up. Love this truth so much: “We don’t fight for victory, we fight from it.” Thanks for sharing.

  6. Kathy, I understand about emotional baggage being misread as a learning disorder. My Little Bit is super smart, but her emotional issues hold her back… they are sort of like a mental block to learning. I love your final words in this post. It indeed is all about simply believing God. No ten step program, just faith. Love, love love this post.

  7. Kathy, there is SOOOO much good stuff in this post, but one thing that really hit home for me is the sentence where you said, “I remind myself of truth.” What an important word! The world will not remind us of truth, so we have to be intentional about filling our hearts with truth and then pulling it out day after day (sometimes minute after minute) and using it as a reminder of WHO we are in CHRIST. I love that and thank you for the reminder. I’m so blessed to be part of this wonderful group of women who are writing this series. Have a great day!
